[SBS Star] Choi Jin Hyuk Recalls Waiting for His 5-Year-Older Girlfriend for 11 Hours Outside Her Home

Actor Choi Jin Hyuk shared his experience with dating a girlfriend who is 5 years older than him.

On December 17, Choi Jin Hyuk appeared as a guest on SBS' television show "Four Men." 

On this day, Choi Jin Hyuk was asked, "Have you ever had to wait a long time for someone in a relationship?"

To this, Choi Jin Hyuk revealed, "I once waited for my girlfriend for 11 hours. It was because I couldn't get in touch with her," making everyone surprised. 
Choi Jin Hyuk then explained, "My ex-girlfriend lived in a small apartment, and I was waiting right in front of her door at first. But soon, the landlord came down and told me to leave, so I ended up waiting for her in front of the shared entrance. I was there for 11 hours."

The hosts went, "Wow," and the actor continued, "She came the next morning. She told me her phone was broken and that she had fallen asleep at her female friend's house," adding, "I was 20 at the time, and since she was older than me, I didn't want to ask too much because I was afraid I might seem too young."

When Tak Jae Hoon asked, "What was the first thing your girlfriend said to you?" Choi Jin Hyuk responded, "She asked, 'Did you stay here all this time?' but the way she said it was more like, 'Why would you do that?' in an angry tone. She certainly wasn't happy."
Lee Sang Min then commented, "Choi Jin Hyuk is the type to go all in when it comes to love. I heard that you even worked part-time just to pay for your dates. Is that true?"

Choi Jin Hyuk confirmed, "Yes. I saved up money for 5 days from part-time work to go on a 2-day date," and added, "I didn't let my girlfriend pay because it felt like a hit to my ego. I think it was because I was younger that I felt that way."

At this point, Lee Sang Min jokingly said, "The real winner is Kim Jun Ho. His older ex-girlfriend paid a 5 million won deposit for his house and left without asking for it back, so he basically got the money as a gift," referring to Kim Jun Ho's past relationship and filling the room with laughter.
