[SBS Star] 'Stingy' Kim Jong-kook Tells Baek Z Young Off for Overspending

Singer Kim Jong-kook, known for being stingy, was shocked by another singer Baek Z Young's spending habits.

On December 15, a video featuring Baek Z Young and hip-hop group Mighty Mouth's member SHORRY was uploaded on Kim Jong-kook's YouTube channel. 

In the video, Baek Z Young shared an update on her life, saying, "I'm just busy raising my child these days," as she joined Kim Jong-kook at the gym.

Baek Z Young, who has one daughter, mentioned that they are so close they even go to the sauna together, which made Kim Jong-kook and SHORRY exclaim, "Wow, you must have a great relationship with her."

She then mentioned running a YouTube channel while juggling work and parenting, prompting the production team to say, "I saw on YouTube that your electricity bill was 800,000 won (approximately 560 dollars)."

Baek Z Young, looking a bit embarrassed, explained, "I mean, yeah, it was for my house. The electricity bill at home came out to be 800,000 won the other month."

Kim Jong-kook was stunned, saying, "You can't spend like that, Z Young! You need to save your money!" and Baek Z Young awkwardly laughed.
Kim Jong-kook asked, "Are you the type who tries to save money, or...?" and Baek Z Young replied, "Well, I'm the type who spends when I have it," which made Kim Jong-kook shake his head side to side. 

Baek Z Young jokingly said, "When I pull out a wet wipe and two or three come out together, I just use them all," to which Kim Jong-kook replied, "What? That's insane! You should put them back. We lived before wet wipes even existed. Why do you do that?!" looking visibly upset. 

After hearing Kim Jong-kook's wet wipe-saving tip, Baek Z Young covered her mouth with both hands in surprise, which made everyone laugh.
