[SBS Star] '48' Um Ki-joon to Return to Work Immediately After His Wedding, Skipping Honeymoon

It has been revealed that actor Um Ki-joon will skip his honeymoon and return to work right after his wedding.

On December 12, Um Ki-joon's agency, Sun Tree Entertainment, informed the media, "Um Ki-joon will hold his wedding with his non-celebrity girlfriend on the 22nd."

Earlier this year, news of Um Ki-joon's wedding was announced, but the exact date had been kept under wraps until now.

48-year-old Um Ki-joon has been receiving warm congratulations from fans, friends, family, and colleagues following the news. 
However, unlike the usual practice of leaving for a honeymoon right after the wedding, he will only take a day off after his wedding and then return to work immediately.

Currently, he is part of the musical "Gwanghwamun Sonata." 

After his wedding on the 22nd, he is expected to proceed with scheduled performances, including a daytime show on the 24th. 
Back in May, Um Ki-joon surprised everyone with his wedding announcement. 

At that time, the actor wrote on his Instagram, "I never thought meeting someone to spend my life with was part of my fate. But I've found a warm-hearted and considerate person, and I plan to marry her, starting a new chapter of my life."

He continued, "I worry that you might be surprised by this sudden news, but my dear fans, I will never forget your support and love. I will do my best to repay your love. Thank you."
