[SBS Star] Yoo In Na Shares Her Shocking Experience Where Someone Used Her Photos to Scam a Guy
Actress Yoo In Na remembered when she discovered someone stole her photo and used it in a romance scam.

On December 10, Yoo In Na posted a new video on her YouTube channel 'You In Radio', featuring actor Park Jung Min as a guest.

During their conversation, Yoo In Na brought up an incident she experienced in her early twenties.

"I was working part-time at a coffee place back then. One day, a random guy approached me and said, 'Hye-young, it's me.'."

"I said that I'm not Hye-young, but the guy was like, 'I know you are.'.", Yoo In Na recounted, expressing how surprised she was.

Yoo In Na said even though she kept explaining that she was not Hye-young, the guy did not believe her.

"I was scared. 'I swear I'm not Hye-young. I'm In Na.', I said. The guy sighed and pulled out his phone. It happened way back, so the phone was a flip phone. He then showed me a collection of photos on his phone, which were all pictures of me."

"Were those truly your photos?", Park Jung Min asked in a surprise; Yoo In Na replied, "Yes, every single one."

Yoo In Na explained what happened: a woman took Yoo In Na's photos from her social media and used them to approach a man online, introducing herself as Hye-young.

"This woman took my photos from Cyworld (once-popular Korean social media) and used them to contact the guy. She even told him made-up stories behind the photos, like, 'I did this and that today.'.", the actress remarked.

"She didn't stop there; what she did to the guy was a romance scam. The guy said the woman borrowed money from him, like one or two million won (approximately 697 or 1394 dollars). I was surprised because, to me, it was a huge amount of money back then."

Yoo In Na continued, "Again, I explained to the guy that I was not the woman he had been talking to. I showed him my Cyworld account, revealing that the photos he received were mine, stolen from my social media account."

"So the guy contacted this Hye-young person and said, 'I've met the owner of the pictures you've stolen. I'm taking this to the police.'."

"Then the woman finally replied to him and returned the money. That's how things got resolved. Isn't that crazy?", Yoo In Na said as she wrapped up the story.
