Kim Sejeong's interview on her recently concluded project, ENA's television series 'Brewing Love' was published on December 11.
Kim Sejeong played 'Chae Young-ju', a former Special Forces soldier who became a salesperson for a liquor company falling in love with 'Yoon Min-ju' (Lee Jong-won), the CEO of a brewery.
In the interview, Kim Sejeong expressed how it feels to say goodbye to the series.
"I truly enjoyed being on the 'Brewing Love' filming with everyone. I learned a lot during my time there. It was an opportunity to meet amazing colleagues, and I couldn't have been happier."
"I felt comforted by how 'Chae Young-ju' finds her true color at the end. It made me think about my journey to find my true color, and now my heart is full of hope.", the actress said.
"It's genuinely loving my partner, the love interest in the scenario. Another thing I do is carefully observe how I behave when I love someone in real life.", the actress remarked.
"Through your eyes, you can express your gratitude, preciousness, and happiness of being loved much more effectively than any extravagant speech."
"I also remind myself that 'every form of expression is available' when expressing love. Sometimes, seeing other people's love life in a written form can feel too much and embarrassing. But isn't that what love is like? When we love someone and want to show affection, we all tend to stop caring about saving face."
"In that light, I try to express the feeling of 'I'm in love with this person right now' with more daring. It helps me to understand the script when working on a romantic-comedy project.", Kim Sejeong added.
"I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who followed 'Chae Young-ju' in her journey to grow. You guys have been leaving words of empathy and comfort for her, and I'm sure she would feel happy about it."
"For those of you who comforted her, I hope greater love will come to your life. For those who felt for her, I hope the series gave you more comfort than what 'Chae Young-ju' got."
"I hope everyone can fill their today and tomorrow with their colors and have much happiness.", Kim Sejeong concluded.
