[SBS Star] "Every Child Seems So Precious Now" Lee Seung Gi Shares How It Feels to Be a Father

Singer/actor Lee Seung Gi talked about the internal transformation he experienced after becoming a father.

On the December 10 broadcast of SBS POWER FM's radio show 'Cultwo Show', actors Kim Yun Seok, Lee Seung Gi, Kim Sung Ryoung, Kang Hanna, and Park Su Young guested to promote the upcoming film 'About Family'.

Lee Seung Gi, who married actress Lee Dain in April last year, became a father this February with the arrival of their baby daughter.

During the show, Lee Seung Gi shared that seeing children outside hits him differently now that he is a father.

"They say that other people's children are equally as precious as one's own. That notion didn't hold much appeal to me in the past."

"But after I became a parent, every child I see seems so precious and special.", the actor remarked with a smile.
Lee Seung Gi then talked about the external transformation he has been through for 'About Family'; he fully shaved his head for a scene in the movie.

"I've been growing my hair for two years since then. Now, what you see on my head is entirely my own.", the actor revealed.

"Before filming the scene, the pressure was on to finish the sequence in a single take.", Lee Seung Gi remembered.

"While shaving my head, the iconic moment from the film 'The Man From Nowhere' where actor Won Bin shaves his head popped into my head."

"So I intentionally changed the direction of the clipper to make it look different.", the actor playfully added, making other cast members laugh.
The family comedy movie 'About Family' follows 'Ham Mu-ok' (Kim Yun Seok), whose only child 'Ham Mun-seok' (Lee Seung Gi) chose to be a Buddhist monk.

When 'Ham Mu-ok' thinks his hope of carrying the family name is over, he gets visited by grandchildren he never knew he had, and an unexpected co-living condition begins.

'About Family' is to hit theaters on December 11.
