On December 3, Uhm Junghwa and singer Car, the garden featured in singer Jung Jae-hyung's YouTube show.
While speaking together, Car, the garden mentioned Uhm Junghwa holding her first solo concert in 23 years, "The tickets must be selling like hot cakes."
Uhm Junghwa responded, "No, they're not. It's not even near being sold out yet."
She hesitantly carried on, "When I decided to hold a concert, I expected at least half of the tickets to be sold on the first day. But I realized that wasn't easy. I mean... My concert's taking place at a small concert hall!"


He continued, "I know you are disappointed, but don't be. You shouldn't let things like that get to you. You're not the only one experiencing something like that. It happened to me before too, and unlike you, I've been active in the music industry the whole time. It just means we've got to work harder."
Uhm Junghwa pulled a sad face and commented, "Yeah, I know. But it does upset me to think about it."
She added, "After learning that not as many tickets were sold on the first day of the ticket sales, I called Yu Jae Seok and Kim Young-chul to ask them if they could let me be on their shows. That way, I could let more people know about my concert, so..."
Uhm Junghwa entered the K-pop industry with an album 'Sorrowful Secret' in 1993, but halted her singing career in 2008 due to thyroid cancer.
Then in 2020, she returned to the music scene as a member of project girl group 'Refund Sisters'.
