[SBS Star] VIDEO: Taeyeon Tells 3 Essential Qualities One Must Have to Become a Successful K-pop Star

Taeyeon of K-pop girl group Girls' Generation gave some great advice to the members of hoobae K-pop groups. 

On October 20, one fashion magazine released a video of Taeyeon titled, 'Hoobae K-pop groups, you must watch this video!' on their YouTube channel. 

In this video, Taeyeon, who has been in the K-pop industry for 15 years, answered questions that hoobaes possibly would like to know the answer to. 
First, Taeyeon was asked what she thought were three essential qualities that one must have to become a successful K-pop star. 

Taeyeon said, "You should have a positive attitude, be an all-rounder in terms of talent in the entertainment field and be able to read the trend well." 

She also said, "If you want your group to last, then you must be careful of 'temptation'. You must not be tempted into things." 
After that, Taeyeon received another question, "How do you make up with your members when you are annoyed or upset with them?" 

The Girls' Generation's leader answered, "I think talking to them is the best way to make up with them. But there's nothing that my members make me feel annoy or upset. I'm saying this for real." 

She continued, "Actually, I've once written a letter to each one of my members in the past. I just wanted to make them feel happy on that day. You may think handwritten letters are nothing much, but considering the number of our group members, it's not something easy to do." 
To those hoobaes who are making debut as a soloist after years of group promotions, Taeyeon stated, "You must think that you're making debut for the very first time. You must have the same attitude that you had when you had just made debut. You must think and act that way."

As Taeyeon wrapped up the video, Taeyeon commented, "There are so many hoobaes out there now. I love you guys, and I totally do watch your performances, shows and stuff. I hope to see you more!" 

With a shy smile, she added, "Also, I hope you ask me questions if there's anything that you would like to know. Don't hesitate to come up to me."
