[SBS Star] "Instead of Buying Many Albums..." Red Velvet WENDY Melts Fans' Hearts with Her Caring Words

WENDY of K-pop girl group Red Velvet melted fans' hearts with her warm words. 

On October 18, WENDY sent some messages to fans through an official fan messenger that melted their hearts. 

While speaking to WENDY, one fan told her, "I'll make lots of money so that I can go to your concert and buy your albums, unnie!". 

In response to this fan's message, WENDY said to her, "I don't know about concerts, but don't buy too many albums. Please! One is more than enough. Just the fact of knowing that you are supporting us and listening to our music is enough for me." 

The K-pop star continued, "Instead of buying more than one album with that money, I want you to spend it on a good meal with your family. If you're living alone, buy something delicious for yourself, because you've worked/studied hard all day and you deserve that." 

She went on, "Make money, and buy tasty things for yourself. Or you could buy a long padded coat for those soon-to-come freezing days. You should also visit a doctor when you're feeling unwell. I guess... I simply want you to look after yourself with that money. That's my hope." 
Then, WENDY shared that she feels that too much attention is on the number of album sales nowadays. 

WENDY said, "These days, I feel like everybody cares too much about how many albums we've managed to sell every time our new album comes out. Honestly though, I don't get that. Why is that so important? There are people out there who love and support us, and listen to our songs. That's good enough, isn't it? I really hope you guys buy good food and warm clothes with that money instead. I beg you. Please...!"  

She resumed, "I think the reason why companies are making a lot of different versions of albums is because you guys are buying them all. You should stop buying them. If you stop, then maybe companies won't produce that many different versions of albums anymore." 

Lastly, she added, "If our albums are ever produced as one kind, I'll try asking our company to make sure there is only one version of our photocards in the album. I don't know if they'll listen to me, but I'm just going to throw it out there and see what happens!" 
These messages were taken screenshots of, and they rapidly circulated online afterwards. 

Upon reading what WENDY wrote in her messages, all K-pop fans are unable to get over how sweet and caring her thoughts are.
