[SBS Star] HANI Fires Back at Haters Saying She Has Mental Issues as She Is Dating a Psychiatrist

HANI of K-pop girl group EXID fired back at haters who said that she has mental issues because she is dating a psychiatrist. 

On October 6, HANI featured in popular make-up YouTuber's video. 

While getting make-up done, HANI was asked how she felt about going public with her and star psychiatrist Yang Jae-woong's relationship.

HANI said, "My mind definitely feel more comfortable now that it's out there, because before it was released, I felt bad. I felt like I was hiding something from my fans." 
Then, she angrily added, "But I've read some comments, and they made me really angry. Just because my boyfriend is a psychiatrist, who is 10 years older than I am, some were saying that I had mental issues and was gaslighted by him. Those comments are just ridiculous!" 

As the YouTuber asked HANI to look at the camera and say something back to those people, she said, "No, it's not like that! I don't have mental issues or anything!" 
Previously in June, it was reported that HANI and Yang Jae-woong have been dating one another for two years. 

Right after this was reported, HANI's management agency released an official statement regarding the report.

The agency stated, "It's true that HANI and Yang Jae-woong are in a relationship. They have been together for two years. They have a good relationship with each other. Please give your warm support to the two." 

Yang Jae-woong is a 40-year-old psychiatrist who has featured in various television shows, and runs a popular YouTube channel with his psychiatrist older brother. 

Yang Jae-woong is 10 years older than HANI―Yang Jae-woong was born in June 1982, and HANI in May 1992.
