[SBS Star] VIDEO: SUNMI Makes Red Velvet SEULGI Cry with Her Ever So Loving Words

K-pop artist SUNMI made SEULGI of K-pop girl group Red Velvet cry with her sweetest words. 

On October 6, SUNMI's interview with SEULGI was uploaded on YouTube. 

At the end of the interview, the production team asked SUNMI and SEULGI to have a truthful talk with each other with their heads put together; they are good friends. 

SEULGI said, "You've always said how great it would be if I came out as solo. That way, you said, I'll be able to show my true color to the public and fans. I could feel that you meant every word of it." 

She continued, "In the past, I didn't really know what you exactly meant by that. But one thing that was sure was that you gave me courage and confidence about turning solo on that day. I thought, 'Thanks to those people who believe in me, like you, I would be able to make successful solo debut.'" 

With watery eyes, she went on, "I actually felt really grateful for that. I'm usually uncomfortable with sunbaes, but I felt comfortable with you even on the day when we first met. You are always like, 'My SEULGI! SEULGI the cutie pie!' So, I was able to open my heart to you quicker than any other sunbaes. I felt so comfortable with you that I messaged you first and stuff. Thank you for that as well." 
In response to this, SUNMI stated, "The reason why I was all like that with you from the beginning was because you were so honest, kind and polite when I saw you. That's why I was really opened to you from the very first time I met you." 

She went on, "There is something that I want to say to you as well. You tend to suppress your emotions. That truly breaks my heart. It's upsetting to see you like that. I want you to let them out from now on." 

As soon as SEULGI heard her saying this, she commented, "Why do I feel like I'm going to cry?", and burst into tears. 

Then, SEULGI playfully said, "The cameras are really zoomed in on us, right? Oh no...! It's just that everything that SUNMI says delivers to me so well with her so close to me."
