[SBS Star] Actor Namkoong Min Announces Marriage

Actor Namkoong Min and model Jin Areum will be getting married next month.

On September 28, it was reported that Namkoong Min and Jin Areum are planning to get married in October this year.

Shortly after the reports, Namkoong Min's management agency 935 Entertainment confirmed, "Namkoong Min and Jin Areum will be getting married on October 7."

According to reports, the couple will hold their wedding ceremony private with their closest friends and family, at the Shilla Seoul, Seoul.
Namkoong Min and Jin Areum first met through the 2016 film 'Light My Fire', where Namkoong Min was the director and Jin Areum was the main actress in the film.

The couple made their relationship public in the same year, and have continuously been shown their support to each other whenever they have chances to.
Most recently, Namkoong Min expressed his thanks to Jin Areum during his grand prize acceptance speech at the '2021 MBC Drama Awards'.

He said, "Areum, thank you so much for always being by my side. I love you so much."
