[SBS Star] Kang Tae-oh Enlists in the Military Today

Actor Kang Tae-oh has enlisted in the military today.

On September 20, Kang Tae-oh officially started his mandatory military service by starting off his basic military training at the 37th division recruit training center in Jeungpyeong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do.
Hundreds of fans gathered in front of the training center, and Kang Tae-oh briefly greeted his fans before his enlistment.

Kang Tae-oh said, "It feels very strange. I'm grateful to those who came all the way. It's an honor to be able to receive your love, attention, and blessings."

He continued, "I will return with a more mature version of myself after fulfilling my duty of defending my country. Thank you."
A day before his military enlistment, Kang Tae-oh took to his Instagram and shared photos of himself with military buzz cut.

Along with the photo, the actor wrote, "I thank everyone for their support and abundant love. I will return bravely. See you soon."

Kang Tae-oh will serve his mandatory military duty as ROK Army's active-duty soldier.

His expected date of discharge is March 19, 2024.
