[SBS Star] IU Confesses She Has Dealt With Hearing Issues Since Last Year

Singer/actress IU confessed that she has been dealing with hearing issues over the past year.

On September 18, IU held her 'The Golden Hour' concert at Jamsil Olympic Stadium, Seoul―her first concert in approximately three years.
After the performance, IU stood on stage and spared a moment to talk with her fans.

IU confessed, "To be honest, today's performance was a little difficult. I have some problems with my ears, so I was nervous while preparing for the show."

She continued, "It's not serious, but I can't control my ears well and the symptom has been going on since about a year ago."
IU then explained that her throat condition was very good, but her ears got a little worse after yesterday's performance.

She continued to explain, "So, I think I had a day in hell while rehearsing last night and today. I came up to the stage, thinking, 'I don't know what's going to happen' as I started the first song."

She also expressed her thanks to her fans, saying, "I think you guys made everything for today's performance. Thank you so much."

Lastly, IU assured fans that she is doing her best to get treatments for her hearing issues.
