[SBS Star] VIDEO: CHAEYOUNG Says Yoona Secretly Paid for Her Table at a Restaurant

CHAEYOUNG of K-pop girl group TWICE shared that Yoona of another girl group Girls' Generation paid for her table at a restaurant without even her knowing it. 

On September 13, a video of CHAEYOUNG was uploaded on one popular YouTube channel. 

In this video, CHAEYOUNG was seen having a talk with rapper Lil Cherry. 

During the conversation, Lil Cherry asked whether there was any concept and outfit that she did not like so far. 

CHAEYOUNG laughed and responded, "In TWICE's early debut days, we always had a happy and cute concept. Since I was young, I wanted to look like a grown-up, so that wasn't like how I wanted to look like." 

She continued, "For instance, I had to sing in a cute way and wear cute clothes for 'KNOCK KNOCK', and I didn't like that. When I was a trainee, I didn't perform those kinds of songs much. Our concept at that time was closer to ITZY's now." 
Then, Lil Cherry said to CHAEYOUNG, "A lot of new K-pop groups are coming out these days. Is there any particular group who you have your eyes on?" 

CHAEYOUNG answered, "It's New Jeans for me. I feel like they've opened up a new market in the K-pop world. I think there will be lots more different styles of K-pop from now on." 

Then, Lil Cherry commented, "Oh, and Girls' Generation also made a comeback recently. Who's your favorite Girls' Generation member?" 

CHAEYOUNG suddenly became super excited and answered, "They're so awesome! I really think that. My favorite member has got to be Yoona." 
When asked why, CHAEYOUNG explained, "Yoona and I actually go to the same make-up/hair salon, and there is a great Korean barbecue place nearby that I go often." 

She resumed, "When I saw Yoona, I said hello and continued enjoying my meal. I went to pay after the meal, and the staff at the restaurant told me that Yoona had paid for our table as well. I was so surprised." 

She added with a big smile, "Thank you, Yoona. Thank you so much. I had an amazing meal all thanks to you."
