[SBS Star] EXID HYELIN Says the Unexpected Great Success of 'UP&DOWN' Gave Her Anxiety
HYELIN of K-pop girl group EXID shared that the unexpected great success of the group's song 'UP&DOWN' made her feel very anxious.

On September 5 episode of IHQ's television show 'Travely', HYELIN, model Song Hae Na, actress Kim Min Sun were seen traveling together in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.

In the evening, they put gorgeous night dresses on and headed to a restaurant, where they could pair their menu with some wine.

While having a tasty meal and good wine, Song Hae Na shared her worries, "My life has been too hectic lately, and that makes me feel really nervous. I want to get rid of that nervousness through this trip."

She resumed, "The anxiety kind of stops me from meeting people. But if I don't, I feel lonely. I don't know what to do."

HYELIN carefully listened to her concern and commented, "I totally get what you mean by that. I've had the same issue right after 'UP&DOWN' success. Even when I was receiving such a great amount of love and attention, I kept on questioning it."

She carried on, "Because we live off love and attention, I began to feel anxious about getting some rest. I was scared everyone will forget who I am if I took some time off."

She continued, "Whatever I was doing, I kept on asking myself, 'Is it okay for me to do this?', 'Is it alright to take some rest?' and stuff. It wasn't easy."

In response to HYELIN's sincere story, Song Hae Na commented, "I feel good enough that you've listened to my concerns."

EXID made debut in February 2012, but the group did not really manage to catch the eye of the public.

When EXID released 'UP&DOWN' in August 2014, the song remained at the bottom of music charts until one of the members HANI's fancam went around online about two months after.
