[SBS Star] SM Entertainment Shuts Down f(x)'s Official Japanese Fan Club
K-pop girl group f(x)'s management agency SM Entertainment announced the closing of the group's official Japanese fan club.

Recently, a notice was posted on f(x)'s official Japanese fan club website that they will be closing in May this year.

The notice reads, "As f(x) has not been promoting as a group, it is hard for us to continue to serve the members of me(you) (f(x)'s fan club name) Japan. The official fan club me(you) Japan will cease its service in May 2019."

The sudden announcement has caused speculations of f(x)'s disbandment, while some fans believe that the closure of the Japanese fan club does not necessarily mean the group's disbandment.

f(x)'s last group activity was its first solo concert and its second Japanese single '4 Walls / Cowboy' both took place in 2016.

Since 2016, Victoria and Krystal are focusing on their acting careers while Luna and Amber have been releasing their solo albums.
