[SBS Star] Somi's Solo Debut Has Reportedly Been Delayed

Disbanded project girl group I.O.I's member Somi's solo debut has reportedly been delayed, again.

According to industry sources on April 29, Somi's solo debut, which was originally planned to take place on May 1, is delayed.
The source explained, "Due to various internal issues that have recently arisen, Somi's debut has been delayed. The decision was reached after considering the quality of the album as well."

After parting ways with JYP Entertainment last August, Somi had been preparing her solo debut under her current agency THE BLACK LABEL, an independent label under YG Entertainment.
THE BLACK LABEL announced that Somi will be making her solo debut on May 1 and that she will soon be filming her music video.

With only two days left until May 1, the agency has yet to make any statement regarding her debut promotions.
