Hello, I'm your hope, J-HOPE.
It's so amazing to be here today in front of so many journalists.
I'm excited and look forward to your articles.

Q. BTS doesn't have any scandals. Special promises or rules?

SUGA: Thank you for your question. We did talk about self management and rules during our rookie days.

We also talked a lot about the influence and mood we make as we work in the entertainment industry.

We shared our thoughts about how we should live as a person who does music and performance.

Instead of talking about how we should make promises or doing something out of that, we talked about how we should live as an artist, and it naturally created a promise that doesn't necessarily feel like a promise.

We all think that we have to repay the love that many people have given us, and for our dreams that we want to achieve. I think that's why we have promise that isn't really a promise.

JIMIN: Personally, I think we didn't make concrete promises, but the mood was made eventually.

Between the members, we often say to each other, "Whatever happens, we are on your side. So don't be hurt."

Since we have people around us who trust one another like this, me and my members always try to be careful with our actions. Like a promise.

Q. What makes BTS special? Any advice to people who dream of becoming 'the next BTS'?

SUGA: I have gone over that question many times before.

I asked myself, "What makes us so special and unique that are we so greatly loved?"

A lot of things are different, but not so much at the same time.

We have fans who always support us when we work hard and make new music.

Overseas interviewers very often ask us this question, "What do you think of immense love and support that you get from your fans?"

These days, I keep thinking that we are special, because we have special fans.

Advice for people who dream of becoming 'the next BTS'?

To be honest, I don't think there is anything such as 'the next BTS' or 'the next someone'.

When we first started doing music, we all had this dream of becoming 'the next someone' as well.

In the end though, we didn't become 'the next someone'. We became BTS.

I don't believe anyone will become 'the next BTS'.  I believe that there will be more awesome K-pop stars in the future.

JUNGKOOK: Actually, I didn't really work that hard when I was a trainee.  I regretted that after I made debut.

I looked back on my past and was like, "Why didn't I put in more effort? I really should have worked harder." But I honestly didn't realize that until I made debut.

I would like to advise all the trainees out there to use their time more wisely. That way, they will end up as even more amazing K-pop stars.

V: I don't know if I'm the right person to be giving advice to people who are currently training, but...

Failures and frustrations that they may face while training are not always something bad. I don't want anybody to get hurt and feel depressed by them.

Don't get hurt and think of it like stairs leading you up to a higher place. Your failures and frustrations will help you become a better self.

I also would like you to know that they will just become a part of your memory if you give yourself some time.
