[SBS Star] Nam Joo Hyuk Sells out All Tickets for His First Japan Fan Meeting!

It appears that nothing could stop actor Nam Joo Hyuk's growing popularity.

On October 25, Nam Joo Hyuk's management agency YG Entertainment confirmed that almost 6 times of fans than they can accommodate tried to purchase a ticket for his first solo fan meeting in Japan.
Nam Joo Hyuk is planning on greeting his fans in Japan through his fan meeting 'NAM JOO HYUK FAN MEETING 2018' on November 24 at AiiA 2.5 Theater, Tokyo.

According to the agency, the initial plan was to hold the fan meeting twice in one day and invite 1,600 fans in total (800 fans each), so they could have a small but intimate meet and greet session.

But the minute the tickets become available, the fans had to fight fiercely to secure their seat at the fan meeting since almost 9,000 fans attempted to purchase the ticket.

Even though YG Entertainment announced that they are planning on providing few more tickets through other platform, the fans are already asking for an encore fan meeting since the procedure is expected to be even more competitive.
A relevant source stated, "We already knew that Nam Joo Hyuk was popular in Japan, but we had no idea he had this many fans. And the expectation towards the event already has been doubled since Nam Joo Hyuk said that he will hold a hi-touch session during the fan meeting and hold everyone's hands."

With the drama 'The Bride of Habaek', 'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo', and 'Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo', and variety show 'Three Meals a Day', Nam Joo Hyuk became one of the most beloved actors in Korea and gained increasing popularity overseas.
Also, with his latest film 'THE GREAT BATTLE', he received many awards and succeeded in expanding his spectrum as a movie star.

It seems like Nam Joo Hyuk will get even busier this November since he has to not only prepare for his fan meeting in Japan, but also start working on another fan meeting 'Nam Joo Hyuk 2018 PRIVATE STAGE 'CURRENT'' that will be held in Korea on December 1.
YG Entertainment stated, "He is counting the days till he meets his fans. He even came up with a theme for his fan meeting and an event on social media. Through the fan meeting, fans will be surrounded by romantic vibes and will be able to have candid conversation with Nam Joo Hyuk, an actor and a person who lives in the moment."

Meanwhile, Nam Joo Hyuk's latest film 'THE GREAT BATTLE' released on September 19 attracted more than 5 million moviegoers thus far.
