[SBS Star] BTS Makes TIME's '25 Most Influential People on the Internet' List

K-pop sensation BTS named to TIME's '25 Most Influential People on the Internet' list, for the second year in a row.

On June 28, the American magazine TIME revealed its annual list of 'The 25 Most Influential People on the Internet'.
The list is mainly based on two criteria―the contenders' global impact on social media and their overall ability to drive news.

BTS was named in the list alongside with worldwide celebrities and the ones from various fields, including Rihanna, Donald Trump, Kylie Jenner, Kanye West and more.
The magazine highlighted BTS' amazing achievements in the year of 2018, like topping Billboard 200 as well as winning Top Social Artist award at Billboard Music Awards for the second time.

It also emphasized the role of BTS' fandom, widely known as ARMY, "The real engine behind their success is their passionate social fanbase, who style themselves as the 'ARMY' and eagerly consume anything related to the group."
Meanwhile, BTS is scheduled to kick off its 'LOVE YOURSELF' world tour in August.
