[SBS Star] BLACKPINK was Called Off Stage in the Midst of Performance?

Fans of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK were furious to see the group being stopped in the midst of their stage at a recent event.

On June 22, BLACKPINK joined '2018 Lotte Family Concert' held at Jamsil Sports Complex, Seoul.

As the opening performer of the concert, BLACKPINK performed to its hit songs 'STAY' and 'As If It's Your Last'.
However, during its third song 'Forever Young', a staff came up on the stage and brought the members out of stage.

BLACKPINK did not return to finish its performance, leaving its fans confused and furious about the sudden interruption.
Lotte Duty Free, the organizer of the event, apologized via its official social media account for sending the group off stage in the midst of its performance.
It noted, "The performance has been interrupted during BLACKPINK's third song 'Forever Young', and it was due to safety issues."

It also explained, "BLACKPINK has been unable to resume to perform the succeeding scheduled stages and unfortunately had to leave the concert."

However, fans commented, "It was unprofessional and disrespectful.", "I feel sorry for the girls.", "For whatever reason it's so hurtful to the fans." and more.
