[SBS Star] Song Hye Kyo in Talks to Lead a New Drama with Park Bo Gum

Korean actress Song Hye Kyo is currently considering joining a new romance drama.

On May 28, it was reported that Song Hye Kyo is in talks to play a leading role in 'Boyfriend' along with Park Bo Gum.

In response to the report, Song Hyo Kyo's management agency United Artists Agency commented, "It is true that Song Hye Kyo was offered a role for the upcoming drama 'Boyfriend', but it has not been confirmed yet." In the drama, Song Hye Kyo will be playing the role of 'Cha Su-hyun', who is unhappy with her marriage with a rich man.

Previously on May 16, it was reported that Park Bo Gum is reviewing the script for the same drama.

Park Bo Gum will act as an ordinary guy 'Kim Jin-hyuk' stuck in doing part-time jobs. Since both Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum's latest dramas were both back in 2016, many awaits for the positive decision to be made to see them back on the screen, and to check out their chemistry as a couple.
