[SBS Star] Yeo Jin Goo Passionately Studies Thai for His New Show

Korean actor Yeo Jin Goo was seen passionately studying Thai words and phrases for his new variety show.

On March 27, tvN's new variety show '4wheeled Restaurant' aired its first episode featuring Yeo Jin Goo, entertainer/restaurant owner Hong Seok-chun and boy group SHINHWA's member Lee Min Woo.

The show presents the cast driving a food truck around Thailand cooking different Thai foods for the locals. After the cast arrived in Thailand, they headed to a local market to buy ingredients to make 100 portions of Pad Thai.

At the market, Hong Seok-chun and Lee Min Woo struggled to communicate with the vendors as they did not understand nor speak Thai.

Right at that moment, Yeo Jin Goo suddenly spoke Thai to them, surprising Hong Seok-chun and Lee Min Woo. It turned out that Yeo Jin Goo had been writing down the names of food, objects, and useful phrases on a notepad whenever he had time after arriving in Thailand. Hong Seok-chun and Lee Min Woo were impressed by his dedication, and even told him, "What would we have done without you?".

Thanks to Yeo Jin Goo, they were able to buy the ingredients needed for Pad Thai.
