[SBS Star] BIGBANG's 'Flower Road' Dominates International Music Charts

K-pop boy group BIGBANG's newest track 'Flower Road' is sweeping major music charts not only in Korea, but also in Japan, China and the U.S.

Since its release on March 13, it has been staying on the top of all major domestic music charts including Melon, Naver Music, Genie, Soribada, Bugs, Olleh Music, and so on. Not only that, but 'Flower Road' also hit first on iTunes 'Top Song' chart in Japan, and recorded the first ever Korean artist to achieve the fastest sales of 1 million copies on QQ―the biggest Chinese online record store.

On March 21, 'Flower Road' charted no.1 on 'World Digital Song Sales' by Billboard. 'Flower Road' is a specially-released song dedicated to BIGBANG's fans, and the lyrics portray its members' feelings that they have regarding the break that the group will go through due to all of them having to serve the national mandatory duty.
