[SBS Star] AKMU's Chanhyuk to Enlist in the Military This Month

K-pop sibling artist duo AKMU(Akdong Musician)'s Chanhyuk reportedly enlisting in military this month.

On September 13, it was reported that Chanhyuk's enlistment date is confirmed to September 18.
Previously, it was revealed that Chanhyuk registered to enlist in ROKMC(Republic of Korea Marine Corps) for his mandatory military duty.

As Chanhyuk has been accepted for his application, he will go through his basic military training at Pohang military training center.

His management agency YG Entertainment stated, "It may seem too early for him to enlist this year, but he insisted to enlist early in order to serve the military with his age group."
Chanhyuk and his younger sister Suhyun's summer single 'Dinosaur' will be the last music release together before his enlistment. 

While Chanhyuk is serving the military for two years, Suhyun will continue her music career as a solo artist.
