[SBS Star] S.M. Raises Security Level Due to Taeyeon's Incident in Jakarta

K-pop girl group Red Velvet's Irene was spotted with many bodyguards at the airport.

On September 1, Irene arrived at Incheon International Airport for her flight to Jakarta, Indonesia.
She was surrounded by five bodyguards and one manager in total, showing an extra level of security.

This change was made after an unfortunate incident happened to Girls' Generation Taeyeon last month.
On August 18, Taeyeon was put in a dangerous situation due to the overwhelming number of fans crowded around her, causing her to fall down and burst into tears.

Fans are hoping that the artists will continually be guarded like this for their safety.
