[SBS Star] Joo Won in Talks to Make a Small Screen Comeback in 2 Years

Korean actor Joo Won may be returning with a new fantasy drama soon.

On May 9, one news outlet reported that Joo Won has confirmed to lead SBS' upcoming drama 'Hotel Alice' (literal translation).

In response to this report, Joo Won's management agency H.BROTHERS stated, "Joo Won was offered a role in 'Hotel Alice' recently. He is carefully going over the script at the moment, but the decision has not been made yet." The story of 'Hotel Alice' centers around a hotel where time travelers from the future start and end their journey in the present day.

Joo Won was offered to play the role of an ace detective 'Park Jin-Kyeom', who unexpectedly finds out there are time travelers in Korea. 

It is said that the drama is planned to broadcast its episodes in the beginning of next year. If Joo Won decides to star in this drama, it will mean it is his return on small screen as an actor in about two years after his last drama 'My Sassy Girl' that aired in July 2017. Meanwhile, Joo Won completed his national mandatory duty in the military on February 5.
