On October 25, news outlet Sports Seoul released their interview with EunHyuk, who is busily getting ready for his performance at '2022 Fuerza Bruta Wayra in Seoul' as a special guest.
EunHyuk said, "My father's death was a great grief to me. I'm still coping with my grief and trying to heal myself. I feel like I'll never be able to take this load off my heart. I cry when I'm alone, even to this day."
He continued, "But I have been blessed with good people around me. They helped me cope with it better. My fellow group members, staff and fans... I feel really grateful that they are always here for me."
Then, EunHyuk revealed he has been trying to work more to take his mind off it, "I've been so focused on my family before his death that I felt extremely discouraged afterwards. So, I'm thankful that I'm given this opportunity to perform. I've always wanted to perform at '2022 Fuerza Bruta Wayra in Seoul' as well."
The Super Junior member went on, "I envy our fans who managed to maintain their own lives well, while growing and walking together with us. We should probably make a 'family zone' at Super Junior's concert. There are many fans who are now married and bringing their children to our concert these days."
He resumed, "Recently, my labelmate Max Changmin became a father. That's just incredible. I came to have much respect for him. It really made me want to have my own family.", then laughingly added, "I want to present my own family to my mother. I don't know which Super Junior member will get married first, but..."
