[SBS Star] Park Hae Jin Surprises His Fans by Making an Unexpected Appearance

Korean actor Park Hae Jin surprised his fans in China by unexpectedly showing up at a fan gathering.

On April 24, Park Hae Jin's Chinese fans gathered together in downtown Beijing to celebrate the actor's birthday as well as the 12th anniversary since his debut.

While Park Hae Jin's fans were filming a video clip to send to Park Hae Jin, the actor made a surprising appearance.

As none of his fans expected him to come to the event, they all jumped in excitement. Park Hae Jin reportedly came to see them after planting trees at Fangshan District, which is about 4-hour drive from where the fans were.

Upon seeing his fans, Park Hae Jin greeted each of them with a big smile, and fans could not conceal their joy. Then, the actor turned on a live broadcast on a phone for his fans who were not present at the event.

Even though the live broadcast was broadcast without any notice in advance, over 90,000 fans in China were said to have simultaneously watched the live broadcast.
Meanwhile, Fanshan District in China awarded Park Hae Jin honorary citizenship for making efforts to better the environment on the same day as the fan event on April 24.
