"I Feel Pretty Nervous" THE BOYZ SANGYEON Enlists with Full Support from Fellow Members

SANGYEON from the group THE BOYZ is temporarily stepping away from the industry to fulfill his military service duties.

According to his agency, One Hundred, "Today (March 17), THE BOYZ member SANGYEON has entered the Nonsan Training Center located in Yeonmu-eup, Nonsan City, Chungcheongnam-do. After completing basic military training, SANGYEON will continue his service as an active-duty member of the Army Band."

SANGYEON shared his thoughts on enlisting, saying, "Being the first member of THE BOYZ to enlist, I feel very nervous and have mixed emotions. I will complete my training well and return in good health!"

All members of THE BOYZ attended the enlistment ceremony, showing their strong support and camaraderie as they bid farewell to their eldest member, SANGYEON, on his new journey.

Debuted with THE BOYZ in 2017, SANGYEON has released albums that have showcased the group's distinct style, earning the love of many fans. Notably, since 2024, he has expanded his talents by appearing in musicals, starting with the Japanese production of 'Crash Landing on You' and continuing with the Korean musical 'Bloody Love,' proving his potential as a theater actor.

Recently, he has been actively involved in various projects, including the '2025 Film Open: SANGYEON Exhibition' held on the 8th and preparing for THE BOYZ's third full-length album 'Unexpected.' SANGYEON has worked tirelessly to create happy memories with fans before his enlistment and is expected to return even more mature after his military service.

Meanwhile, THE BOYZ's third full-length album 'Unexpected,' featuring SANGYEON, will be released today (17th) at 6 PM.
