    Privacy Policy (For Children)

    SBS provides the following information regarding the purposes of collecting and using personal information, as well as the retention and usage period of such information, to applicants for membership registration. If you wish to register as a member, please read the following carefully and provide your consent.

    1. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information

    ① In principle, most services may be used without membership registration. The Company collects only the minimum personal information necessary for purposes such as membership registration and user identification, payment processing, community activities, participation in broadcasting programs, event participation and product delivery, customer support and complaint handling, statistical analysis for marketing or personalized services, and the provision of other individual services.

    ② When registering for membership, the Company collects information necessary to verify the user and to create an account. In the case of users under the age of 14, consent from a parent or legal guardian is required; therefore, information regarding the legal guardian is also collected.

    a. The Company uses personal information for purposes including confirmation of the user's intent to register, user identification, age verification, obtaining consent from the legal guardian of users under the age of 14, prevention of duplicate registrations, updating member information, confirmation of membership withdrawal, management of improper users, and delivery of notices.

    b. The Company uses personal information to verify identity and confirm payment information when users utilize paid products or services.

    ③ During the use of services, additional personal information may be collected. In such cases, the Company will provide prior notice regarding the collection and use of such information and obtain consent before collecting it.

    ④ Information that is automatically generated during the use of services may be stored and collected. In addition, when collecting unique device information that is difficult to change (such as information related to mobile devices or computers), such information is processed so that the original information cannot be identified. This may include IP addresses, cookies, service usage records, device information (such as mobile devices and computers), and location information.

    ⑤ Explanation of IP Addresses and Cookies

    a. What is an IP address?
    An IP address refers to the "internet address information" assigned to a device (such as a mobile phone or computer) used to access the internet.

    b. What are cookies?
    Cookies refer to information stored on a user's device through websites. They enable users to quickly reconnect to their previous browsing environment and help improve convenience by recalling previously stored information.


    2. Use of Collected Personal Information

    The collected personal information shall be used only for the following purposes in relation to SBS services (including mobile web and applications):

    ① For Member Management:
    Personal information is used to verify whether the application for membership registration or withdrawal was made by the user, to confirm the user's age, to verify consent from the legal guardian of a child user, to confirm the identity of the user or legal guardian, and to classify users where necessary.

    ② For Service Development and Improvement:
    Personal information is used not only to provide existing services (including advertisements), but also to improve and enhance such services. It is used to analyze how many users use the services and how they use them, as well as to review and interpret service access and usage records. In addition, personal information is used to develop new services, including providing personalized services.

    ③ For User Protection and Service Operation:
    Personal information is used to prevent actions that violate applicable laws or the SBS Terms of Use, or that harm the operation of the services through improper means. It is also used to prevent unauthorized use or trading of other users' account information (such as IDs and passwords). In addition, personal information is used to notify users of important matters related to the services, such as amendments to the Terms of Use, and to retain records, resolve disputes, and handle or respond to user requests.

    ④ For Service Provision and User Convenience:
    Personal information is used to verify identity when providing paid services, to process purchases and payments, and to provide paid services purchased by users. It is also used to inform users of event information and participation opportunities, and to provide or recommend services or information (including advertisements) that users may like.

    ⑤ For Establishing a Safe Service Environment:
    Personal information is used to create a safe internet environment in which users can use the services with confidence. It is also used to protect users' privacy and personal information and to prevent potential risks or harm.


    3. Consent to the Collection of Personal Information and Methods of Collection

    Users' personal information is deleted upon withdrawal of membership. However, in cases where separate consent is obtained from the user as described below, such information will be safely retained for the agreed period and then deleted. In addition, where retention periods are prescribed by applicable laws, personal information will be safely retained for the required period and then deleted.

    ① For the Protection of Other Users and Safe Service Use:
    To prevent improper use of the services, personal information may be retained for a certain period and then deleted.

    ② Information Related to Membership Registration and Service Use (Retained for 30 Days):
    In cases where a user requests account termination, personal information may be retained for up to 30 days from the date of termination in order to prevent re-registration for improper use of the service.

    ③ Information Related to Payment and Provision of Goods (Retained for 5 Years):
    Records of improper use of services in violation of applicable laws or the SBS Terms of Use, such as unauthorized payments using another person's information or purchasing goods for improper purposes, may be retained. Such records may include ID, name, mobile phone number, delivery address, IP address, cookies, and device information used.

    ④ Cases Where Retention is Required by Law:
    Personal information required to be retained under applicable laws shall be retained for the period prescribed by such laws. Such information shall not be used for any other purpose and shall be promptly deleted upon expiration of the retention period.

    a. Records related to contracts or withdrawal of subscription, etc.: 5 years

    b. Records related to payment and supply of goods or services: 5 years

    c. Records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years

    d. Login records under the Protection of Communications Secrets Act: 3 months

    e. Records of use and provision of location information under the Location Information Act: 6 months

    f. Login records (3 months): records of accessing the service, including entry of ID and password


    This Privacy Policy shall take effect on April 29, 2026.
