Yes, Samsung suffered a home loss yesterday in Game 1 while struggling with just two hits, and they remained silent with no runs through the second inning today. Then, in the top of the third inning, starting pitcher Jurado allowed the game's first run on an RBI sacrifice fly by Lee Ho-yeon with one out and runners on first and third.

Just as the momentum threatened to slip away, the Samsung batting lineup finally awakened.

In the bottom of the third with two outs and a runner on second, Park Seung-gyu delivered a brilliant RBI double to tie the game. Following him, batter Koo Ja-wook hit a go-ahead RBI single dropping into right-center field and roared.

Then Diaz delivered a decisive blow.

He hammered a 151 km/h fastball from KIA starting pitcher Oller, launching a two-run homer that bulleted over the right-center field wall and sent the Lions Park into a frenzy.

In the fourth inning, Ryu Ji-hyeok caught a deep hit and made a brilliant throw to erase a potential hit, crushing KIA's chase momentum. Samsung then added another run in the fifth inning on a bases-loaded walk with two outs, taking advantage of control struggles by relief pitcher Lee Eui-li.

If Samsung holds on to win this game, both teams will tie at one win and one loss, and Game 3 will take place in Gwangju the day after tomorrow on October 28.
