The AI morning lecture was held at 8:00 a.m. today at the Government Complex Seoul, featuring Lee Seung-hyun, CEO of Alpaca Lab and author of The Wealth of AI.

In his lecture titled Understanding the AI Era and Strategies for Rapid Expansion of Public AX (AI Transformation), CEO Lee stated, "We have entered the era of AI agents, where AI goes beyond being a simple work tool to becoming a colleague." He emphasized, "For the public sector to lead the great AI transformation, the Prime Minister's Office must present a data roadmap through inter-ministerial coordination and proactively refine infrastructure and systems."

During the event, Prime Minister Han stressed, "AI innovation is no longer an option but a basic competency for the public service sector. The Prime Minister's Office must first understand and actively utilize AI to create new models for inter-ministerial collaboration and policy coordination."

She further urged, "I ask that staff also actively utilize AI as a daily work partner to create administrative innovations that the public can truly feel."

Starting with today's lecture, the Prime Minister's Office plans to continue hosting sessions on various topics, including public AX, data, and bio.

The Prime Minister's Office explained, "This lecture series was prepared as part of efforts to transform the Prime Minister's Office into an organization equipped with AI capabilities, following the inauguration of Han Seong-suk as the AI Innovation Prime Minister."

Since taking office, Prime Minister Han has been consistently emphasizing the need to accelerate the AI transformation of the public sector, centered on the government.
