The 56th Mr. YMCA Bodybuilding Championship will take place on November 6–7 at the Bongpyeong Living Sports Gymnasium in Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon State.

Co-hosted by the Korea Bodybuilding Association and the Seoul YMCA, the Mr. YMCA Championship is the country's oldest and most prestigious bodybuilding competition, having begun in 1970 and marking its 56th edition this year.

A fierce muscle competition will unfold this year as participants vie for the honor of becoming Mr. YMCA.

In the men's 70kg and under division, competitors such as Lim In-hwan (Gwangmyeong City Sports Council), Lim Seong-jae (Green Fit Korea), and Baek Jaehee (Gwangju Metropolitan City Sports Council) will compete, while the 75kg and under division will feature matchups among Kim Tae-jin (Nature Fitness), Park Byeong-pil (Goesan County Office), Baek Jae-wook (Gwangjin District Office), and Lee Jung-geun (Sejong City Bodybuilding Association).

In the 80kg and under division, Kim Nam-wook (Incheon Metropolitan City Bodybuilding Association) and others will enter, setting the stage for intense battles across weight classes.

In addition, a unique scene featuring the father-and-son bodybuilders Lee Sang-guk and Lee Sen-hee (both with Muscle & People) competing together is drawing attention.

This event is sponsored by Pyeongchang-gun, the Pyeongchang-gun Sports Council, the Bongpyeong-myeon Prosperity Association, and Woori Bank, with sponsorship from Pastel Studio.
