Climbing Atop Car Roof… The Shocking Truth Revealed After Police Questioning

The first piece of Morning Hot Topics is about a driver who climbed onto the roof of a car and rambled incoherently.

A driver who went on a rampage by literally climbing onto the roof of a vehicle in the middle of downtown Seoul has been apprehended by police.

On August 3, police were dispatched after receiving multiple reports of erratic vehicle movement around the Umyeon-dong area in Seoul.

Upon arriving at the scene, they found that the vehicle in question had been involved in a minor collision with another car, and the driver was exhibiting bizarre behavior, such as climbing onto the roof of the vehicle and talking incoherently.

The driver also put up a violent resistance against police attempts to subdue them.

This driver was not under the influence of alcohol, and tested negative on a preliminary drug screening kit.

The truth that came to light after police questioning was shocking.

The individual was an undocumented migrant whose driver's license had been revoked.

It was reported that after stealing another person's vehicle in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, the driver took tranquilizers, rendering normal driving impossible, and drove approximately 33 kilometers all the way to Seocho-gu, Seoul.

Police applied nine charges, including unlicensed driving and driving under the influence of drugs, and forwarded the suspect to the prosecutors in custody.
