A young vendor selling chicken rice at a Chinese night market has gone viral on local social media for his striking good looks.

According to local media outlets such as Haibao News, crowds of customers are flocking to a chicken rice stall run by a man born in the 2000s named Wang Zhi at a night market in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province.

A consumer who happened to visit the night market said they filmed Wang because they were impressed by him busily cooking at the rundown food stall, adding, "This is his actual appearance with absolutely no correction filters used."

Local netizens have responded with comments such as "He has model-like visuals" and "I need to head to the night market right now to eat some rice bowls."

As Wang's appearance went viral on social media, his daily chicken rice sales, which were previously limited to just 3 to 4 bowls a day, surged up to a maximum of 130 bowls.

The overall sales of the night market also increased in tandem.

Amid the outpouring of attention, Wang stated, "I want to continue making delicious rice bowls for my customers in the future."

Meanwhile, in South Korea, a bungeoppang (fish-shaped pastry) vendor dubbed "Gwangmyeong Bungeo-Eun-woo" recently gained popularity for drawing attention with a resemblance to actor Cha Eun-woo.

With broadcasting networks and YouTubers showing interest, the neighborhood bungeoppang street stall emerged as a local landmark.
