Actors Kim Ga-eun and Yoon Sun-woo are becoming parents.
Kim Ga-eun recently shared the news of her pregnancy through her YouTube channel, Kim Ga-eun KIMGAEUN. In a video titled "Revealing Pregnancy to My Husband on His Birthday," she said, "Our first wedding anniversary is coming up soon. We are welcoming another family member, making us a family of six now. A baby angel has come to us."
The video captured a surprise event revealing the pregnancy to her husband, Yoon Sun-woo. Yoon could not hide his overwhelming joy upon discovering baby-shaped balloons decorating the wall and a pregnancy test clearly showing two lines.
Kim expressed her excitement, saying, "I have no idea how much happier and more fun things will be going forward. Let us do well together as a family of six."
Upon receiving the unexpected gift on his birthday, Yoon brought laughter by saying, "My birthday is nothing. Honey, you are the king now, and I am a slave, a slave."
Kim and Yoon first appeared together in the 2015 KBS2 drama "One-Way Dandelion" and developed into a romantic relationship. After dating for 10 years, the couple held their wedding in October of last year.
Having raised two dogs and a cat, the couple successfully conceived a year after marriage, completing a household of six.
