Yoo Hyun-jo has claimed her second victory of the season and the fourth of her career in domestic women's golf.
In a modified Stableford tournament where eagles are worth 5 points, birdies 2 points, and bogeys result in a 1-point deduction, Yoo started the final round as the sole leader with a 4-point cushion and seized control of the match by sinking a 7.8-meter birdie putt on the 10th hole.
Although Kim Min-sun mounted a fierce chase on the back nine, narrowing the gap to just a single point with a stellar putting performance, Kim's birdie putt on the final 18th hole missed its mark while Yoo safely parred to secure the championship.
Having debuted two years ago and previously winning just one title each year, Yoo experienced the joy of her first multi-win season with her second victory this year.
[Yoo Hyun-jo / KLPGA Professional: I sometimes wondered if I was a player who couldn't achieve multiple wins in a season, but now that I've broken through, I will aim for even more victories.]
Meanwhile, in men's professional golf, Lee Dae-han captured his second career win after 23 months.
