Professional football club Gangwon has defeated Anyang, a archrival it had failed to beat for 10 years, jumping to 4th place in the standings. Newcomer Karim scored a fantastic debut goal, perfectly filling the squad void left by players called up for the Asian Games national team.

In the 20th minute of the first half, during a free-kick opportunity in front of the penalty box, defender Karim, who transferred this summer, seized the initiative by driving a powerful left-footed mid-range shot into the net.

With Mo Jaehyun adding a clinching goal four minutes later, Gangwon capped off its first victory against Anyang in 10 years with a dominant 3-0 shutout win, adding 3 points to leap to 4th place in the league.
Gwangju, seeking to escape the bottom of the table, played to a draw in their match against 11th-place Gimcheon.
Trailing 2-0 in the second half, Idele and Fridjonsson scored consecutive equalizing goals to prevent a defeat, but Gwangju failed to win for the 25th consecutive match, tying the record for the most consecutive winless games across both the 1st and 2nd divisions.
In the 2nd division, Suwon Samsung defeated Chungnam Asan to maintain its lead at the top.
In the 18th minute of the second half, Luis scored the opening goal from a penalty kick, and in the 30th minute of the second half, Fessin sealed the victory with a powerful left-footed shot.
