A man in his 50s who went fishing in Tongyeong, South Gyeongsang Province, was rescued after his boat capsized and he fell into the water. As such accidents continue to occur, caution is advised.

In the dark of night, a small boat floats upside down on the sea.
[(Are you in good health? Are you okay?) Yes.]
At around 7:40 PM yesterday (the 13th), a kayak carrying a man in his 50s capsized in the waters near Saryangdo Island in Tongyeong, South Gyeongsang Province.
He had gone out for fishing when his boat overturned and he fell into the water, prompting him to call 112 directly to request a rescue.
Upon receiving the report, the Coast Guard immediately dispatched a rescue team and pulled the man to safety within 30 minutes.
Earlier on the 10th, off the coast of Incheon, three anglers were stranded after their motorboat capsized and were rescued about 11 hours later.
At around 1:30 PM yesterday, a fire broke out at an asphalt manufacturing plant in Gwanghyewon-myeon, Jincheon-gun, North Chungcheong Province.
The fire left two people injured, including a man in his 60s who suffered full-body burns and a man in his 20s who sustained minor injuries.
[Witness: I heard a loud bang, almost like an explosion. I was so startled that I rushed out of the office. When I came out and looked behind, I saw massive flames and thick smoke billowing.]
Fire authorities temporarily issued a Level 1 response and extinguished the fire after four hours.
Four factory buildings burned down, resulting in an estimated 320 million won in property damage according to fire authorities.
Police believe the fire was sparked by static electricity while mixing toluene, a flammable substance, into an asphalt concrete container.
At around 1:30 AM today, a fire broke out on a 25-ton cargo truck driving near the Dogae Interchange on the Sangju-Yeongcheon Expressway toward Sangju, Gyeongsangbuk-do.
The driver in his 70s evacuated immediately, preventing any casualties.
Police are investigating the exact cause based on the driver's statement that the fire started from the wheel on the driver's side while driving.
