They also agreed to sign an MOU between the National Museum of Korea and the Uffizi Gallery in Italy, along with an agreement on joint film production.

At the state banquet, President Lee held a tea meeting with Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Ferrari Chairman John Elkann. He was also awarded the Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, the highest honor in Italy, for his contributions to improving bilateral relations.
President Lee began a summit meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni a short while ago.
Following the meeting, President Lee will oversee the exchange of MOUs signed between the two governments in areas such as economy and culture, and will attend a Korea-Italy business event alongside leaders including Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong.
