Rescue Dog Tobaeki's 'Animal Farm' First Pitch Stuns Koo Ja-wook & Kim Young-woong

The special first pitch story of Tobaeki, a retriever and former 119 rescue dog, is set to be revealed.

On the upcoming episode airing on the 13th, SBS "Animal Farm" will showcase the delightful retirement daily life of veteran rescue dog Tobaeki, who spent six and a half years rushing to 253 rescue scenes.

Tobaeki is a hero who touched the entire nation, not only by searching the Gwangju apartment collapse site, but also through his "bandage fighting spirit," continuing search operations with bandages wrapped around his paws during the 2023 Turkey earthquakes. After retirement, Tobaeki became a family member of firefighter Kim Chul-hyun, his former partner in the field. Unlike his past days of moving with strict discipline, he is showing a cute, contrasting charm as a "laid-back dog with broken military discipline" who falls apart in front of treats and even makes bathroom mistakes.

Tobaeki has now formed a special bucket list item: attempting to throw a first pitch in professional baseball. For this first pitch event arranged through a collaboration between "Animal Farm" and the Samsung Lions, player Kim Young-woong stepped up as a daily coach, while player Koo Ja-wook also joined in for enthusiastic support.

Tobaeki is a special "player" who instantly captured the hearts of Koo Ja-wook and Kim Young-woong. Having safely completed 253 rescue missions, the veteran Tobaeki entered the baseball stadium wearing a uniform with the number 119.
