'If Wishes Could Kill' Baek Sunho Wins Exclusive Contract Dispute Against Former Agency While Serving in Military

Actor Baek Sunho (real name Lee Sun-ho) has won his lawsuit against his former agency to confirm the termination of his exclusive contract.

Attorney Han Jung-mu of Law Firm Beopjeong, Baek Sunho's legal representative, announced the ruling on the 9th, explaining that this lawsuit was a procedure to clarify the legal relations regarding the actor's exclusive contract and future activities.

Baek Sunho enlisted in the military in April and is currently serving as a corporal in the Army's 66th Infantry Division.

Attorney Han emphasized, "Actor Baek Sunho plans to faithfully complete his remaining service and then prepare for new projects and activities as an actor. We sincerely thank the fans who have trusted and supported the actor, as well as all industry officials who have shown interest. He will do his best to finish his military service successfully and repay the support he has received with good projects and diligent activities."

Before his debut, Baek Sunho went through training at Big Hit Music, then moved to C-JeS Studios to prepare for an idol debut before switching paths to acting. After debuting in the 2023 Channel A drama "Between Him and Her," he built his filmography by appearing in "Dongjae, the Good or the Bastard," "Million Dollar Baby," and "Kick Kick Kick Kick." He also gained popularity by starring in the Netflix series "If Wishes Could Kill," which he finished filming before enlistment.
