In a video released on the YouTube channel "YouTube Ha Ji-young" on September 2, Ha Ji-young named Kim Hye-soo as the person she respects the most while chatting with guests HAHA and Kim Won-hyo.
Recalling the time when she was struggling with her career after stepping down as a reporter for the SBS program "Han Bam", Ha Ji-young shared, "A video titled 'Kim Hye-soo has been supporting Ha Ji-young for 17 years' recently popped up on YouTube." She recalled how Kim Hye-soo had reached out to her first, recommending classes to study film and music and opening up a path for her to learn.
Ha Ji-young continued, "It was an expensive class taken by 15 people together. I later found out that unni Hye-soo paid the entire lesson fees for it. She has not even used informal language with me for 20 years. She is someone I deeply respect, and she is my universe," expressing her profound admiration.
She added that gaining knowledge through those classes was a tremendous help in her successful return as a professional event host.
Kim Hye-soo is widely known as a representative icon of good deeds in the entertainment industry. Her meticulous care and quiet support have once again warmed hearts by serving as a solid pillar of strength for a junior in despair.
