On the August 31 episode of SBS's "Love Against Time," Kim Seonho and Jung Yeji finally cleared up their past misunderstandings through a late-night walk, confirming their feelings for each other. Jung Yeji confessed that she kept thinking of Kim Seonho even while on a date with someone else, and Kim Seonho also expressed his intent to stop overthinking, stating, "I should act according to where my heart moves."

However, a twist occurred in the subsequent "Room of Time" selection. Jung Yeji and Kim Seonho secured a date with a combined total of 150 minutes, splitting 80 and 70 minutes respectively, but the 30 minutes left by Kim Seonho acted as a variable. Kim Nayoung, who had her eyes on Kim Seonho since the first day, went all-in on him with the remaining 100 minutes, successfully setting up a date between the two. Kim Nayoung declared a bold advance, saying, "I will definitely ask how you see me as a woman," signaling a new love triangle.

Meanwhile, the crossed paths among other cast members deepened. A chain of unrequited crushes involving Han Dogon, Seo Robin, Kim Jongeun, and Kang Minyoung failed to meet the 100-minute threshold, leading to a massive cancellation of dates. Host Jung Yonghwa and the cast members expressed regret over the tangled romance lines.

In the preview at the end of the broadcast, scenes of Kim Seonho and Kim Nayoung's date intersected with Jung Yeji shedding tears, amplifying the tension. "Love Against Time" airs every Monday at 10:10 PM.
