The group NCT DREAM, which debuted in 2016, has confirmed that all remaining members will stay with the group, uniting in a six-member lineup.
SM Entertainment released an official statement on the 20th, stating, "Members HAECHAN, who had already completed his contract renewal, along with RENJUN, JENO, JAEMIN, CHENLE, and JISUNG, have renewed their contracts based on deep mutual trust and unchanging affection for the team, and will continue their journey with our agency." This means all members are continuing together except for MARK, who left the group following the expiration of his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment in April.
The agency stated, "Since their debut on August 25, 2016, NCT DREAM has delivered messages of hope and positivity with refreshing energy and passion, turning numerous dreams into reality over the past 10 years." They added, "We sincerely thank the members who have shared this dazzling journey to establish themselves as an 'icon of growth' and 'K-pop representative artists,' as well as the fans who have always been a tremendous source of strength."
The agency further stated, "We will continue to provide unwavering support so that NCT DREAM's infinite potential can shine even brighter, walking alongside them as a reliable partner," and asked, "We kindly ask for your high expectations and continuous support for NCT DREAM's diverse activities coming up in the second half of this year."
