Seo Jang-hoon Tells 'Rising Eagles' to Play like It Is Their Last Game Ahead of Rematch

The "Rising Eagles" are putting their first loss behind them to face "JKrew," the strongest team in the Seoul metropolitan area and their rival from Season 1, in a fateful revenge match.

SBS "Rising Eagles Season 2," airing at 11:05 PM on Sunday, August 16, will feature the showdown between the "Rising Eagles," who suffered a painful first defeat after a four-game winning streak, and a determined "JKrew."

Ahead of the match, which serves as a turning point in the rankings, head coach Seo Jang-hoon gave his players a fierce pep talk, telling them, "Think of this as your last game."

Their opponent, "JKrew," is currently the sole top-ranking team riding an undefeated streak in the "National Championship" tournament. To avenge their loss to the Rising Eagles in Season 1, they underwent grueling training starting in December to significantly bolster their strength.

The main highlight of the matchup is expected to be the battle in the paint between JKrew's "twin towers" Choi Yang-seon and Kim Yoon—who boast an imposing height of 193cm and 196cm, respectively—and the Rising Eagles' "human barrier" Julian Quintart. Adding to the intense battle is the pride clash between JKrew's secret weapon Seol Do-yi and the Rising Eagles' Oh Seung-hoon. Broadcaster Jung Yong-gum could not hide his excitement over the game's momentum, calling it "an unbelievable game."

Meanwhile, the broadcast will also feature a celebratory performance by the crossover group La Poem, heating up the atmosphere on the court even further.

Whether the "Rising Eagles," armed with a do-or-die mindset, can bounce back and return to a winning streak against the strong championship contender "JKrew" will be revealed on "Rising Eagles Season 2," airing on Sunday, August 16 at 11:05 PM.
