Actor Jee An has announced her marriage to former baseball player Um Jung-wook.

On the 8th, Jee An posted a photo of herself wearing a wedding dress on her social media and stated, "I am now becoming a married woman. As a free spirit who had never thought about marriage, I am getting married to Um Jung-wook, the player who threw the fastest pitches in our country during his active years."

Introducing her groom-to-be, Jee An shared, "Perhaps because he grew up receiving an abundance of love from his parents, Um Jung-wook is a very warm-hearted person who always knows how to think of others and be considerate first." She added, "From now on, we will become each other's best friend and reliable supporter to build a family full of laughter."

Born in 1983, Jee An first made her face known through the 2003 National Chunhyang Selection Contest. She later transitioned into acting and appeared in films such as "Deep Trap" and "Horror Stories 3". Her most recent work is "Serve the People", released in 2022.

Born in 1981, Um Jung-wook began his professional baseball career after joining the Ssangbangwool Raiders in 2000 and played as a pitcher for the SK Wyverns for 15 years. In particular, during his high school days and early entry into the league, he was a powerhouse pitcher throwing 158 km/h, drawing intense attention from domestic and international scouts.
