On the July 29 episode of SBS's "Kick a Goal" airing at 9 p.m., the fourth match of the 2nd GIFA Cup will unfold alongside the debut match of LUNA, who has joined as the new member of "FC Top Girl Movement".
LUNA, the main vocalist of 2nd-generation K-pop representative girl group f(x), worked as a track and field athlete during her school days and is known as one of the entertainment industry's top athletic talents, having previously won a gold medal in the high jump at an idol athletics championship.
Her teammates greeted her appearance with enthusiastic cheers. YUBIN of Wonder Girls, a fellow 2nd-generation girl group member, offered a warm greeting, while Lee Chae-yeon, the team's goalkeeper and a junior junior, added to the heartwarming mood by showing her fandom, saying, "I used to have my monthly trainee evaluations with f(x)'s 'LA chA TA'. As someone who grew up dreaming while watching you, it is such an honor."
Stepping onto the field for her debut match, LUNA sprinted across the pitch with exceptional speed fitting for a former track and field team member. SEOGI of "FC Balladream" watched and exclaimed, "It's like she's using the art of shortening distances," while former member DAYOUNG also gave a thumbs-up, saying, "I wanted to teach her about soccer, but she is better than me."
However, LUNA, who had been continuing her unstoppable dash, suddenly shed tears during the match, raising curiosity. Attention is focusing on what the meaning of these tears hidden behind her glamorous debut match could be.
f(x) LUNA's eventful first soccer challenge will be revealed on "Kick a Goal" airing today (July 29) at 9 p.m.
